If you’ve been following our updates, you may know that Madam Azimah, my sister and co-creator of My English Matters, lost her husband in March this year.

Madam Azimah has continued teaching our students in our online programmes, but she took a break from hosting the live sessions on our Facebook page.

And now she is back on the show.

We thought it’d be great to reintroduce her to our audience by catching up on everything that has happened in the past four months. We also wanted her to share what she’s learned from this life-changing experience.

A sudden change or hardship in life can take a toll on our self-esteem and confidence. So in this session, Madam Azimah shares five things to help you regain your confidence after a difficult situation.

You may need some tissues to watch this one, but I promise that we also share hope, positivity and encouragement.

You can watch it here.

You can also listen to this session on SpotifyApple Podcasts or Google Podcasts.

Remember, through hardship, we grow. Sadness is part of the human experience — just like happiness is. What’s important is that we maintain perspective, even through the toughest times.

We hope you find the video helpful and we’ll talk to you again soon.
